Meaning
:
Karmades : Madanphala + Vacha powder +
Rock salt + Honey Yashtimadhu plant juice should be
given to drink till the patient feels like
vomiting.
Dosage : Madanphala powder - 10
gms Vacha powder - 5 gms Rock salt - 5
gms Honey - 15 gms Yashtimadhu juice should be
given to drink until the patient feels like
vomiting. It should be given just once in the
morning. Action : Its emetic action brings out
toxins accumulated in the stomach.
- Virechan
Meaning
:
Karmades : Haritaki
churna
Dosage : 10 gms at night with
lukewarm water. Action : Sometimes stools do not
come out easily, hence purgation is required at that
time as it drags out toxins from the body. It helps to
reduce symptoms of the disease.
- Basti
Meaning
:
Karmades : Pichha Basti of
Mocha-vrunta swarasa (latex of Shalmali)
Dosage
: 60 cc Once in a day, in the morning. Action
: It is an astringent in action and helps to reduce
water in the stools. It is hemostatic in action and
